Google Chrome
Step 1. Open the browser settings
Go to the Google Chrome settings. Go to the Privacy and Security section and open the Site Settings tab.
Step 2. Unblock access
Open the Camera section. In the Block field, you’ll see the Screen Capture webpage. Click on the trash can to unblock the screen recorder.
Do the same with your microphone. The Microphone section is right below the Camera section.
Step 3. Start new recording
Return to the Screen Capture web page. Set up the recording parameters and start recording.
The browser will request access to your microphone and webcam. Allow access and continue recording.
Mozilla Firefox
Step 1. Click on the share the screen icon
At the left end of the search bar, you’ll see the Share the Screen icon. Click on it. The settings tab will appear on your screen.
Step 2. Unblock Screen Capture
In the Permissions section, you’ll see that screen sharing is temporarily blocked. Hit the “x” to unblock it.
Step 3. Start new recording
Return to the Screen Capture web page. Set up the recording parameters and start recording. The browser will request access to your screen. Allow access and continue recording.
If you are recording the full screen, Firefox may ask you to allow extra access to the entire screen for recording. Allow this access via the System Preferences tab.
Microsoft Edge
Step 1. Go to the system settings
Open the Start menu on your computer and go to Settings. Now go to Privacy.
Step 2. Allow access
On the Privacy tab, you should see Camera and Microphone. On these tabs, you can choose which apps can have access to your webcam and mic. Switch on Microsoft Edge.
Step 3. Make your recording
Now go back to the Screen Capture web page and start a new recording.
